My Water Bottle || Image Guidelines

How to create the best images for your My Water Bottle.

Your image is the most important part of your order & is crucial to the quality of the final product.  It is therefore important to ensure that the quality of the image you upload follows these simple tips & guidelines.

LOGO - FOR PROMOTIONAL/CORPORATE BOTTLES

  • Please upload your logo file in JPEG or PNG format.
  • Ensure that your artwork is clear & has a quality finish.
  • Low resolution or blurred images cannot be accepted
  • If the image that you upload doesn’t meet our quality standards, we’ll reach out to you for a new one.

QUALITY

  • The quality of your uploaded image will determine the quality of the finished product.
  • We only "cut out" the image we do not alter colour etc - Pet & People bottles only.
  • Choose an existing photo or take a new image.
  • Use a smartphone or high quality camera.
  • Avoid blurry photos.
  • Avoid overly filtered photos - this makes it easier for us to edit the image.
  • Upload file format - JPEG, PNG only.
  • If the image that you upload doesn’t meet our quality standards, we’ll reach out to you for a new one.

LIGHTING

  • Please ensure your photo is taken in a well lit area. Ideally without a filter & with natural lighting.
  • Ensure the subject is 100% visible & not in shadows.
  • For best results ensure there is a contrast between your subject & the background - eg; black dog on light back ground or white dog on a dark background.

POSITION

  • For best results take the image close up and head on. This will allow us to get a good crop of your image.
  • The image should be of the subject only - no other people or obstructions in the shot.
  • For pet images it is best if your pet is sitting up - reclining position is not ideal.
  • Consider the pose of your subject & what it will look like once it has been cut out & all other components of the image removed.
  • Portrait must be centered - do not cut off any features.
  • Leave plenty of space around the subject & avoid obstructions.
  • Head shots produce the best results.
